GRAPEVINE, TX  — 1/23/2024  — Betts Company CEO Mike Betts was inducted into the Heavy Duty Aftermarket Hall of Fame at Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) ‘24 held this week in Grapevine, Texas.

HDAW is the premier event for the heavy-duty aftermarket industry in the country.

“There are so many to thank,” Betts said when accepting the prestigious award. “Thank you all who do their best to support and grow our industry.”

Mike Betts credited Betts Company’s enduring legacy to the many generations of groundbreakers and leaders that preceded his tenure.

“Much of the success in the 156-year history of Betts Company is attributed to those before us who navigated through some very difficult times. Their journey of hardship and perseverance – along with their passion and drive to move forward – is what inspires us today,” he said.

After honoring his son Bill Betts, Betts Company’s current President and COO, and conveying his steadfast passion for the continued creation of “world-class” career and technical education programs, Betts concluded with the following:

“I leave you with a question…How can all of us within the industry come together — the OEMs, marketing groups, industry associations — and collaborate to recalibrate and reset our industry path forward with good, common-sense solutions for future success? The time is now.”
